Grangewood Satellite is part of Grangewood School and the Eden Academy Trust but is based at Pinkwell Primary School in Hayes.
It is a specialist provision for up to 16 pupils from Year 1 and Year 2.
Adapted Specialist Spaces
The classrooms and outdoor spaces have been specially adapted to fully meet the needs of pupils with severe learning difficulties and sensory processing needs and include an outdoor play space, a sensory room and specialist equipment.
Staff
The satellite will be staffed by teachers, support staff and therapists from Grangewood School.
Teaching and learning
The provision for pupils at Grangewood Satellite will be the same as Grangewood School including a curriculum to meet the needs of all children.
• All staff will be highly skilled at facilitating learning and meeting the needs of pupils with a range of learning difficulties.
• Pupils will follow Grangewood School’s curriculum appropriate to their individual needs.
• Therapy will be integrated with education.
