We have a healthy and nutritious menu at Grangewood, and can accommodate all religious or health dietary requirements.
All Grangewood children will get free school meals for the 2024/25 school year. This is a measure bought in by London Mayor, Sadiq Khan for Primary School children who live in a London Borough.
However, it is still important for families to check if they are entitled to benefit related free school meals. This is because schools receive additional funding for pupils who have registered for Free School Meals (FSM) at any time during the last 6 years.
The grant is available for three groups of children
- Children from lower-income families who qualify for a Free School Meal (FSM)
- Children who are looked after (i.e, in the care of the Local Authority)
- Children of service personnel.

We believe that the school lunchtime is a great opportunity for all our children to sit down together and enjoy their healthy and tasty meal, while developing their social skills.
We therefore hope that all parents will take up this offer of a free school meal for our Infant pupils.
